Suit Yourself: Classic Looks For Young Boys

It’s hard enough picking out attire for adults, but when it comes to children you may be confronted not only with style but cost, and concept that despite how “well behaved” they may be, “kids will be kids”, and likely dirty their duds.

Still, weddings, whether formal, or “casual” affairs, are still ceremonious events that mandate (somewhat) stately attire.

According to experts, formal evening affairs call for ring bearers to wear a satin or velvet Eton suit. For daytime ceremonies and events, (long) shorts (white in summer, gray in fall or winter) paired with a navy blazer and matching knee socks is an acceptable look as is a seasonal day suit. Older boys can wear either a suit of a navy blazer with gray slacks.
